I am a Reiki Master/Practitioner and have been offering Reiki treatments since 2000.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word, meaning “universal life force energy” and has been a form of hands-on “healing” for over 75 years but it is based on the same principles as more ancient treatments that work on energy flow, e.g., reflexology. Healing in this context means helping the body to balance energy and working on all levels, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It is given without diagnosis and is not based on any religious system. It does not interfere with medication and is complementary to other therapies.

Clients have come to me for Reiki to help them with shoulder and neck pain, stress, in preparation for IVF treatment and for general nurturing.

Treatments last an hour, with additional time required on the first visit to complete a health questionnaire. You lie fully clothed on a couch in a calm and relaxing environment whilst I lay my hands over different places on your body, starting at your head, allowing you to absorb Reiki energy and unwind.

Will I feel anything?

People’s experience of Reiki can differ, with some feeling heat, others seeing colours, whilst others just feel deeply relaxed and rested. If you have never had Reiki before, come with an open mind and be ready to enjoy the experience.

Cost: £45 for one hour’s treatment.

Course of 3 treatments £120, booked in advance.

"I have visited Elle 3 or 4 times over the last few years for Reiki treatment on a recurring shoulder problem. Each time I have walked into the room hunched up and stiff, and have walked out feeling much more relaxed, able to move my arm fully and with no shoulder pain. Now whenever the ache starts I book myself in for a session with her straight away."               Sharon
